DESCRIPTION:The Royal National Mòd is Scotland’s premier festival famous for celebrating our Gaelic linguistic and cultural heritage\, showcasing emerging and professional artistic and musical talent\, with opportunities for people of all ages to perform across a range of competitive disciplines including music\, song\, highland dancing\, drama\, sport and literature. \nLike many other events and festivals\, this year’s Royal National Mòd\, due to take place in Inverness in October\, fell victim to the on-going Coronavirus pandemic. \nAn Comunn Gàidhealach are delighted to announce that they will be holding an online version of Am Mòd Nàiseanta Rìoghail. In keeping with the tradition\, the event will allow our Gaelic community to celebrate and showcase our language and music.
