DESCRIPTION:A message from the organisers: \nWe very much regret to announce the cancellation of our summer season of dancing for the third year running. \nThis year the main reason is not Covid\, but the temporary closure of Linlithgow Palace for safety reasons\, while Historic Environment Scotland undertakes high level masonry inspections. The survey can only be carried out during the summer months\, and it is therefore unlikely that the Palace will re-open in time for our usual July/August season. \nWe are so sorry to disappoint our many supporters throughout the world who love the unique experience of Scottish dancing in such a beautiful and historic setting. We are looking at the possibility of holding a one-off event later in the year\, and very much hope that Linlithgow Scotch Hop will fully return in 2023. \nThank you for your patience and understanding!
