On 27th March Scottish-American filmmaker and singer Celeste Landeros will present ‘Betty & Belle’, a film premiere of her series of music videos—12 traditional Scottish Songs in African, Caribbean and Latin American style, also featuring a live performance by Iona Fyfe—1pm at the Burnbank Centre in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire.
During the pandemic, Celeste explored her musical heritage through Zoom lessons with Scots singer Iona Fyfe, then fused the traditional tunes she learned with the African, Caribbean, and Latin American musical styles of her Miami home.
