Membership

The TMSA is a membership organisation and anyone can join. Our members include music enthusiasts, festival fans, amateur and professional performers, tutors, event organisers, academics, groups and entire families.

TMSA members receive:

• a quarterly newsletter packed with information;
• an annual festival calendar of traditional music events across Scotland;
• discounts at TMSA events and from major specialist traditional music retailers;
• access to a network of individuals with similar interests;
• a vote at our Annual General Meeting, which determines national policy

Categories of Membership

Individual Standard: 18 + years.

Individual Concession: under 18 or 18 + and also OAP, unemployed, disabled or student in full time education.

Individual Premium: a premium individual membership with enhanced benefits.* 

Family: any 2 adults at the same address plus children under the age of 18.

Affiliate: an individual, group or organisation that wishes to support our work and to qualify for the affiliate benefits.

Corporate: a commercial business that wishes to support our work. 

Life Membership: Individual Standard membership for life.

Pay your membership by Direct Debit

With Go Cardless you can set up a direct debit membership payment from your bank account. If you are applying to be a new member, tick the box that says ‘I have set up a regular payment online’ on the application form before you post it to us. If you are an existing member, please email us at office@tmsa.scot to let us know you are changing your payment method.
