Folk at the Salmon Bothy Remember Jimmy McBeath

Jimmy MacBeath (1894–1972) was a Scottish Traveller and traditional singer of the Bothy Ballads from the North East of Scotland, and was a key player in the mid 20th century Scottish folk revival.

Folk at the Salmon Bothy celebrate his life and contribution with a day of commemoration and celebration, with stories, songs and even theatre in the form of one-act play Jock’s Jocks.
