Shetland Fiddle Week

Shetland Fiddle Week is a five-day music school that takes place in Shetland on the first week of August each year. Workshops led by experienced Shetland musicians cater for players of intermediate to advanced ability, teaching the tunes and techniques of the distinct Shetland fiddle style. Based in Shetland, students are immersed in the islands’ rich musical culture, welcoming communities and beautiful landscapes. Concerts and sessions will also take place across the week.
