Unlocking live events in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland—Public Panel Discussion

5 April, 2021 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

As part of the AHRC ‘Music in the Rural Creative Economy Fellowship’, a live public panel discussion about unlocking live events in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland will be held Monday 5 April at 1pm.
The panel will consist of: Mairearad Green (Musician and Visual Artist, Ullapool); Graeme Howell (Chief Executive, Shetland Arts) and James Mackenzie-Blackman (Chief Executive/ Ceannard, Eden Court Theatre, Inverness).
The panel will be discussing the way forward for music and live performance events in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, and how they see their role and live events in general as we emerge from lockdown. They will discuss their artistic and organisational plans for the future, what might be needed in the sector, and how lockdown has perhaps shifted thinking about live events, digital, festivals and the arts in the rural creative economy of the Highlands and Islands of Scotland.
Sign up for the event via eventbrite. Once you sign up you will be sent the zoom link via email.
