The beloved Scottish Fiddle Orchestra will make a long-awaited return to live indoor performance with a special Hogmanay Celebration at Edinburgh's Usher Hall on Thursday 30th December!   The 80-strong flock of fiddlers and other musicians will be joined by mezzo soprano Colette Ruddy and conductor Blair Parham for an unforgettable evening of festive entertainment.   The Hogmanay Celebration starts at 7.30pm on Saturday 30 December. Seachdain na Gàidhlig | World Gaelic Week

Seachdain na Gàidhlig will be the first official Gaelic language and culture week to be held in Scotland. Similar to Seachdain na Gaeilge in Ireland and Mìos nan Gàidheal in Cape Breton, the week aims to promote Gaelic for all, with official events and community initiatives.
