Muckle sangs is the Scots term for ballads. The Muckle Sing is a very special day for community singing groups and individual singers, including morning & afternoon workshops, a final performance & short concert from guest tutor Jo Miller. All are welcome—from the beginner to the experienced performer—and no need to be able to read music. The Carrying Stream Session
Edinburgh & Lothians Branch’s annual joint session with the Edinburgh Song Session (ESS). Part of the Carrying Stream Festival, the session will celebrate the songs, poetry and other writings of Hamish Henderson; Armistice and other song themes are welcome.
