A celebration bringing together outstanding traditional singers from the UK and Ireland. Listen to and join in unaccompanied traditional singing. Informal, friendly, non-competitive—equally for the less experienced as for old hands. Concerts with guest singers, singarounds, workshops, craft demos and a talk.

ButeFest was first imagined as a way to bring music, art and new cultural experiences to to the Isle of Bute and to promote family connections and tourism in the area. The festival is on the stunning Isle of Bute, the jewel in the Firth of Clyde off the west coast Scotland, within easy reach of Glasgow. The location of the festival is the beautiful area of Ettrick Bay. It gives all butefesters the best view around!
