Seachdain na Gàidhlig | World Gaelic Week
Seachdain na Gàidhlig will be the first official Gaelic language and culture week to be held in Scotland. Similar to Seachdain na Gaeilge in Ireland and Mìos nan Gàidheal in Cape Breton, the week aims to promote Gaelic for all, with official events and community initiatives. The Scottish Fiddle Orchestra at Aberdeen Concert Hall
The SFO plays original arrangements of traditional Scottish fiddle music, plus more recent orchestral compositions. Concerts usually involve around 100 performers including pipers, dancers and singers.
