Friends of Wighton Lunchtime Recital
The Lunchtime Recital on Wednesday 2nd February, 1.15pm -1.45pm will be given by mother and daughter duo MoragAnne Elder and Elisabeth Flett, playing fiddles and singing a selection of tunes to do with winter and the North. Both, of course, are long time friends of the Wighton—MoragAnne currently running the mixed instruments class and Essa has grown up coming to Wighton classes; her musical career is followed with great interest and pride. Friends of Wighton are holding their first Cappuccino Concert in the Wighton Heritage Centre since pre-pandemic times, on Saturday 19th February at 11am! Performing will be Wighton favourite Bruce Davies with his golden voice, songs old and new, warm personality and nifty guitar work. Tickets are £5, payable on the day, Covid precautions will be taken and the audience numbers are limited to 20, so advance booking is essential—email secretary@friendsofwighton.com to register!
