Summer school offering Gaelic, Song, Clàrsach, Fiddle, Piping and Step Dance with the best tutors in the Gaelic world. Usually includes a community festival in the evening with Gaelic as the main language. Everyone speaks English! In 2021 Ceòlas was able to present a summer school of online classes. The 52nd Newcastleton Traditional Music Festival is being held online! The competitions are a little different to usual ones—entries this year need to be on video, and you can visit http://www.newcastleton.com/ to find out how to submit yours. A concert will be held on the Newcastleton Festival's Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/newcastletontraditional.musicfestival) on the evening of the 4th July at 7:30pm featuring the various winners and possibly one or two judges as well—just like every year!
