EDINBURGH INTERNATIONAL HARP FESTIVAL ONLINE
The Edinburgh International Harp Festival is the UK’s premier harping event: an annual celebration and gathering of musical talents from the global harp community, and The Clarsach Society’s flagship event. EIHF 2021– celebrating 40 years of the Festival and 90 years of The Clarsach Society – will take place online from Friday 9th to Monday 12th April inclusive. Spirited fiddle and beautiful nyckelharpa bring you a wonderful selection of old and new tunes for all around Scotland and Europe. Gavin Marwick and Ruth Morris have been performing together for over fifteen years in bands such as Bellevue Rendezvous, Gav’s various Journeyman shows and their Galloway based ceilidh band Whirligig. The duo is a new and exciting way to enjoy their intimate and engaging acoustic string driven sound.
