Fifesing: October Old Songs Gathering
Following the very successful online three-day FifeSing2020 Festival Weekend in May, the MidSummer gathering in June, and the FifeSing July Old Songs, FifeSing decided to take a break for the summer. Due to the cancellation of the 11th Haal in June 2020, the Folk at the Salmon Bothy had hoped to host a 'Short HAAL' on 23/24th October 2020. Over the weekend it was planned to hold a session or two in local pubs, hold the Greig Duncan Song Competition in The Bothy and present the Wheeler/ FTSB Prize to an Aberdeen Music School Pupil, at a Ceilidh/ Concert in the Station Hotel on Saturday Evening.
