Past TMSA Young Trad Tours
One of the most important elements of the tour is the Young Trad Tour Cultural Exchange, where the touring young musicians spend time with schools and community groups in the areas they are visiting and share some of their experience and music in workshop-style sessions.
TMSA Young Trad Tour 2018
Featuring: West Lothian singer, Hannah Rarity, the BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year 2018; with Rory Matheson – piano (Drumbeg); Amy Papinransky – voice (Keith); David Shedden – bagpipes (Glasgow); Luc McNally – guitar & voice (Dipton) plus Charlie Stewart – fiddle (Perthshire), the 2017 winner. NB: finalist Ali Levack – whistles/pipes (Maryburgh) – was not able to make the Tour but was part of the recording of the Tour CD.

The 2016 group formed the basis of the TMSA Young Trad Tour playing at the Lorient Interceltique Festival in August 2017.
